📝 Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural steel components including beams, columns, trusses, frames, brackets, and supports according to approved engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret structural engineering drawings, isometric diagrams, and fabrication blueprints accurately and independently.
- Perform fitting, assembly, and tacking of structural steel components prior to welding — ensuring correct dimensions, alignment, and squareness.
- Work closely with welders, quality inspectors, and site supervisors to ensure all fabricated structures meet project quality standards and specifications.
- Operate structural fabrication tools and equipment including grinders, cutting machines, drills, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.
- Carry out dimensional checks and visual inspections on completed fabrications to verify compliance with drawings and quality requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized fabrication workshop or site area in full compliance with HSE policies and industrial safety regulations.
- Meet daily and weekly fabrication production targets as set by the project supervisor.
