📝 Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries for the food retail business.
- Process and record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner using the company’s ERP system.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review and decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer invoices on a regular basis to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle VAT filing and ZATCA compliance requirements applicable to the company’s retail food operations in Saudi Arabia.
- Monitor and track daily retail sales, cash transactions, and point-of-sale reconciliations across company outlets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analysis reports to support management decisions.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and store management teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory purchases and costs.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and Saudi regulations.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience in the same or a closely related field — specifically with retail sector exposure.
- Proven hands-on experience working with ERP systems — candidates must be comfortable processing accounting transactions through ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Retail sector experience is required — prior accounting work in food retail, supermarkets, restaurants, or FMCG businesses is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Saudi VAT regulations, ZATCA compliance, and local financial reporting requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple accounting tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting-related software for data analysis and reporting.
