📝 Key Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and fabrication sketches — working precisely from technical documentation throughout all fabrication activities.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of different piping materials — including Carbon Steel (CS), Stainless Steel (SS), alloy steel, and other industrial pipe grades — selecting correct materials as per project specifications.
- Accurately measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes using appropriate fabrication tools and machines — achieving correct dimensions and surface preparations for welding and assembly.
- Perform pipe spool fabrication — fitting, aligning, and assembling pipe components including elbows, flanges, reducers, tees, and supports to drawing specifications.
- Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QC inspectors — ensuring all fabricated components are correctly assembled and ready for inspection and welding.
- Ensure all fabrication works comply with project specifications, piping codes, and applicable industrial standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean fabrication work area — following all HSE site rules and safety procedures at all times.
✅ Requirements
- Technical certification or trade diploma in fabrication, mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in fabrication — specifically on oil and gas, construction, or industrial projects.
- Ability to read and work from isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches independently and accurately.
- Knowledge of different piping materials — Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, alloy steel — and their respective handling and preparation requirements.
- Skilled in using pipe cutting, grinding, and fabrication tools and machines to produce correctly prepared pipe ends and components.
- Must be currently in Riyadh or eligible to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Valid Iqama or legal work authorization in Saudi Arabia.
