📝 Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain servers, networks, and IT system infrastructure — ensuring all systems are configured correctly, documented thoroughly, and operating at peak performance.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability — proactively identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Manage and administer Windows and/or Linux servers — including installation, configuration, patch management, and performance optimization.
- Implement and manage virtualization environments — VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms — ensuring optimal resource utilization and high availability.
- Manage backup systems and disaster recovery procedures — ensuring all critical data and systems are protected and recoverable in the event of failure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues — diagnosing problems efficiently and implementing effective and lasting solutions with minimal downtime.
- Implement security best practices — including firewall management, access control, patch deployment, and vulnerability assessments — maintaining a secure IT environment.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and business units — supporting operational and business requirements through reliable and well-supported IT systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes — ensuring all infrastructure is fully documented and changes are properly tracked.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments — installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms — VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving mindset — ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues systematically.
- Good communication skills — ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
