Core Responsibilities
- Lead development of the UN’s Partnership Strategy alongside the Resident Coordinator and UN Country Team
- Liaise with government, private sector, civil society, and development partners on SDG-related initiatives
- Support resource mobilization strategies and funding proposals for the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework
- Serve as a liaison to the UN Global Compact Local Network
- Contribute to knowledge management and best-practice sharing across the Resident Coordinator system
Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business/public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, or a related field (a bachelor’s plus 2 extra years of qualifying experience may substitute)
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic partnerships, resource mobilization, or development cooperation
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships across government, private sector, and civil society
- Fluent English and Arabic (UN Level II in reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
