Job Description
As a 6G Certified Chiller Pipe Welder, you’ll work on-site as part of the mechanical team, performing high-quality pipe welding for chiller and associated piping systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform 6G position pipe welding for chiller piping and related mechanical lines using TIG / SMAW methods.
- Read and follow welding procedures, job drawings, and site instructions to meet project quality standards.
- Ensure welds meet required strength, finish, and inspection expectations (as per site QA/QC).
- Coordinate with supervisors and fitters to complete assigned welding activities on schedule.
- Maintain safe work practices and keep tools and work areas in good condition.
