Job Description
The Electrical QS Engineer will be responsible for handling quantity surveying and cost-related technical office processes for electrical and instrumentation works in an industrial project environment.
- Conduct quantity surveying, cost estimation, and quantity certificate studies for electrical and instrumentation works.
- Analyze BOQs and prepare new unit prices when required.
- Prepare cost estimates and quantities by reviewing project drawings.
- Prepare technical documentation using AutoCAD, MS Office, and related software.
- Create progress reports in coordination with site and project teams.
- Ensure technical and administrative coordination between employer and contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical office role.
- Strong experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, unit price analysis, and progress payments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drawing programs.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and reporting ability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
