As a Mechanical Draftsman (Fabrication), you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into precise fabrication drawings while supporting smooth coordination between design, production, and site teams.
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor or similar software.
- Perform reverse engineering by creating accurate drawings from existing units, physical measurements, and client specifications.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, production managers, and site teams to ensure constructability and accuracy.
- Manage drawing revisions and update as-built drawings based on site changes and field instructions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and internal quality guidelines.
✅ Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a higher relevant qualification.
- Valid certification in CAD 2D and 3D drafting.
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling tools.
- Previous experience preparing fabrication drawings for mechanical or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of Tekla software is a strong advantage.
