📝 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company’s complete marine and offshore operations — ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient delivery of all maritime services and projects.
- Develop, implement, and execute business strategies and expansion plans that drive revenue growth, market penetration, and sustainable business development in the Saudi marine sector.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements — including Saudi Ports Authority, SOLAS, ISM Code, and industry-specific HSE requirements.
- Manage and control company budgets, financial performance, cost control, and P&L accountability — delivering results against financial targets set by the board.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team — building a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry partners in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.
- Oversee offshore project management — coordinating technical, commercial, and operational aspects of active contracts and new project bids.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, tenders, and partnerships that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
- Report directly to the board and ownership on operational performance, business development progress, and strategic initiatives.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the marine and offshore industry — with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership capacity.
- Strong and demonstrable knowledge of offshore operations, marine project management, and maritime business development in the Gulf region or comparable environment.
- Proven track record of P&L management, budget control, and financial performance delivery at a senior organizational level.
- Excellent leadership, team development, and organizational management skills — demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse operational teams.
- Deep familiarity with maritime regulations, ISM Code, SOLAS, Saudi Ports Authority requirements, and offshore safety and compliance standards.
