📝 Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, equipment, and supplies — ensuring quantities and specifications match purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all store items — using manual registers or computerized inventory management systems.
- Organize and manage the storage of materials and equipment in a systematic, safe, and easily accessible manner within the store or warehouse.
- Issue materials and supplies to site teams and departments based on approved material requests — maintaining proper documentation for all issues.
- Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks — reporting any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to the project manager.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to raise purchase requests for low-stock items and ensure continuous availability of critical project materials.
- Manage the proper labeling, tagging, and classification of all stored items — ensuring easy identification and traceability.
- Ensure the store area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition in compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports to project management as required.
✅ Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Keeper, or Inventory Controller — preferably in a mining, construction, or industrial project environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations including receiving, issuing, and recording procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software for stock tracking and reporting.
- Ability to read and verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and material specifications accurately.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stock items simultaneously.
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in mining or construction projects is a strong advantage.
- Good communication skills in English — Arabic language ability is a plus for coordination with local teams.
