📝 Key Responsibilities
- Bake and produce a wide variety of cakes — including layered cakes, celebration cakes, cheesecakes, and specialty dessert cakes — to a consistently high standard.
- Prepare and bake cinnamon rolls — including dough preparation, proofing, rolling, filling, baking, and glazing — ensuring perfect texture and flavor every time.
- Produce a range of other pastry items — croissants, danishes, muffins, cookies, brownies, and similar baked goods — as required by the menu.
- Decorate and present cakes and pastries to a professional and visually appealing standard using icing, fondant, ganache, and other finishing techniques.
- Prepare and manage all baking ingredients and station mise en place before each production session.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and quality — ensuring every batch meets the establishment’s standards.
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at the baking station at all times.
- Manage ingredient inventory — tracking stock levels and communicating restocking needs to management in a timely manner.
- Develop and suggest new bakery items and seasonal specials that align with customer preferences and market trends.
