📝 Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and connect grooved piping systems for fire suppression (fire pipe) and HVAC chiller piping applications on commercial and industrial projects.
- Cut, prepare, and groove pipes using mechanical grooving tools and equipment to the required specifications and dimensions.
- Assemble and install grooved couplings, fittings, flanges, and related pipe components accurately and in compliance with system design drawings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, isometric piping diagrams, and shop drawings to execute pipe fitting works correctly.
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and commissioning checks on completed piping systems before handover.
- Coordinate with MEP supervisors, plumbing teams, and fire protection contractors to ensure smooth integration of piping systems.
- Maintain the work area, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized condition throughout the project.
- Strictly adhere to site HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and quality standards at all times.
✅ Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Grooved Pipe Fitter — specifically with fire pipe and chiller pipe systems is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of grooved piping systems, couplings, and fittings from brands such as Victaulic or equivalent.
- Ability to read and work from technical piping drawings and isometric diagrams accurately.
- Experience with fire suppression piping systems including wet, dry, and pre-action systems is a strong advantage.
- Experience with HVAC chiller piping including insulated pipe installation and system integration is required.
- Valid Iqama is mandatory — candidates must hold a currently valid Saudi residency permit to be eligible.
- Must be willing and able to pass a quality interview and skills assessment test prior to final selection.
