❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is a Loop Check and why is it required?
A Loop Check is a critical commissioning activity where each instrumentation loop — from the field instrument through to the control system — is verified for correct wiring, signal transmission, calibration, and response. It is a mandatory step before plant startup and requires experienced technicians who can work systematically and accurately. This skill is a core requirement for this position.
What is Impulse Tubing and what experience is required?
Impulse Tubing refers to the small-bore tubing used to connect process instruments (such as pressure and differential pressure transmitters) to the process piping or vessel. Experience in correctly installing, routing, supporting, and leak-testing impulse tubing lines is a mandatory hands-on skill for this role.
What does “Ajeer must be available” mean?
Ajeer is Saudi Arabia’s official labor mobility and outsourcing platform managed by the Ministry of Human Resources. Candidates must be registered on the Ajeer system to be legally deployed to this employer’s project site. Candidates on Tanazul — the Saudi worker transfer program — are also eligible and will be considered.
What is Tanazul and who qualifies?
Tanazul is a Saudi government program that allows workers to transfer their Iqama sponsorship between employers under specific conditions. Candidates currently in Saudi Arabia under a different sponsor but eligible for Tanazul transfer are welcome to apply for this position.
Is oil & gas or petrochemical plant experience specifically required?
The employer requires plant experience — this can include oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, or any heavy industrial process plant environment. The key requirement is that the candidate has worked in a real plant setting with live instrumentation systems.
