❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What does MEP Engineer mean?

MEP Engineer refers to a professional specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering systems — the essential building and industrial services that make facilities operational. In the context of Jubail’s industrial sector, MEP engineers work on complex systems within petrochemical plants, refineries, industrial facilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

What is Aramco Approval and why is it required?

Saudi Aramco Approval is a certification granted by Saudi Aramco to engineers who have demonstrated the qualifications, experience, and competency required to work on Aramco projects and facilities. It is a mandatory credential for all engineers working within Aramco’s project scope — and is highly regarded across the Saudi engineering industry.

What does FAT mean?

FAT stands for Flight Air Ticket — meaning the company covers the cost of your flight to Jubail when you join. This is a standard benefit for long-term project placements in Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector.

What is the difference between Ajeer and normal documents?

Ajeer is Saudi Arabia’s official labour secondment program — allowing workers sponsored by one company to work temporarily for another. Normal documents refers to standard direct Iqama sponsorship. Reliant International accepts candidates under either arrangement — making this role accessible to a wider pool of qualified engineers.
