📝 Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional automotive painting, refinishing, and color matching on vehicles to a high-quality standard consistent with industry and manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces correctly before painting — including sanding, masking, priming, and filling dents and imperfections to achieve a smooth, flawless finish.
- Mix and match automotive paints accurately using computerized color matching systems to achieve exact manufacturer color codes and custom finishes.
- Operate and maintain spray guns, paint booths, mixing equipment, and paint curing systems safely and professionally.
- Apply base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes including metallic, pearl, matte, and two-tone paint applications as required.
- Inspect finished paint work for defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, and color inconsistencies — and carry out corrective polishing and buffing as needed.
- Coordinate with panel beaters, mechanics, and workshop supervisors to ensure vehicles move through the repair and paint process efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain the paint booth, mixing room, and work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition in full compliance with workshop HSE standards.
- Maintain accurate records of paint usage, job cards, and material consumption as required by workshop management.

- Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Car Painter in a professional automotive workshop, dealership, or body shop — good experience level is required.
- Strong expertise in automotive paint preparation, application, color matching, and finishing across a variety of vehicle types.
