The company is currently mobilizing technical inspection personnel for an active project in Riyadh and is urgently looking for an Aramco CBT Certified Telecom QC Inspector who can join without delay. This is a short-term project contract role for an experienced and immediately available specialist.

📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality control inspections of telecom installations — including fiber optic, copper cabling, structured cabling, telecommunications equipment, and associated systems — ensuring all work meets Aramco standards and project specifications.
  • Review and verify telecom installation drawings, as-built documentation, and test records — ensuring accuracy and compliance with approved design documents.
  • Perform and witness testing and commissioning activities on telecom systems — including fiber optic OTDR testing, cable continuity, network connectivity verification, and system functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and track non-conformances (NCRs) — working with the construction and installation teams to ensure timely closure of all quality issues.
  • Ensure all telecom works comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), project specifications, and international telecom codes.
  • Maintain comprehensive QC inspection records, punch lists, and daily inspection reports — providing accurate and timely quality documentation to the project QC team.
  • Participate in pre-inspection meetings, walkdowns, and quality audits as required by the project.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and the project management team to resolve quality issues and maintain project schedule compliance.

✅ Requirements

  • Aramco CBT (Computer Based Testing) certification is mandatory — active and valid certification is required. Candidates without current Aramco CBT certification will not be considered for this role.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Telecom QC Inspector — specifically on oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects ideally with Aramco project exposure.
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecom systems — fiber optic networks, structured cabling, industrial telecom equipment, SCADA communication systems, and telecom installation standards.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) relevant to telecom and instrumentation — particularly SAES-T series.
  • Experience with telecom testing tools and inspection documentation — OTDR equipment, cable testing tools, and QC reporting systems.
  • Must be available for immediate joining — candidates with notice periods are not suitable for this urgent project requirement.

What is Aramco CBT certification?

Aramco CBT (Computer Based Testing) is Saudi Aramco’s qualification and competency assessment system for third-party inspection and technical personnel working on Aramco projects. Active CBT certification in the relevant telecom discipline is a mandatory entry requirement for all inspection personnel on Aramco-approved projects. Candidates must hold a current, valid, and active CBT certificate at the time of application.
